    Reddit and Twitter are full of docile idiots who will put up with any enshittification of their status quo. But that’s not something Lemmy can change or is responsible for. Early adopters have left to look for new services, the passive will stay where they are.

      Platform-shaming people who have other things to care about than how evil their source of memes is, that just doesn’t feel warranted or helpful. More like counterproductive.

      It’s important to me - I stopped using reddit, I quit FB after all their genocide enabling, and I never got into Twitter. But insulting people doesn’t help them understand the importance of decentralizing power.
