Having seen a solar eclipse back in 2017, I can say it was truly an spectacle. But I don’t see traveling anywhere just to see another one - I mean it’s interesting, but it lasts maybe two minutes and then it’s over and back to normal. And I don’t see spending all that money when you can get the best view of it watching news coverage on TV.

Hmm. Not sure how to feel because honestly, I feel this way also. I do love animals (ummm not in the physical way) and I believe all life is sacred. After all humans are animals also. But at the same time, I love the carnivorous side of being an omnivore - I couldn’t imagine not being able to eat steaks, ribs, chicken wings and other meat with bones and veins in it.

But that doesn’t mean I think animals deserve to die - just that I have to live with the un-resovable contradiction of being both an animal lover and a meat lover. It is yummy and there’s nothing the first bite of a juicy steak or crispy chicken wing. Thank you for your sacrifice, clucky, bessie, and porky.

Well I’m sure it wasn’t Israel’s fault, he probably got in the way of their bullets. There never has been any “god” in the way we mean it, so there could never actually be such a thing as the son of God, nor any need for one. If we were smart as a species, we’d see why it’s more important to support human beings than go around believing in religious nut jobbery.

No I’m not saying the West is much better, but at least here we treat women with the same dignity as men. We spit on all of them, but at least we TRY to say we treat men and women equally.

I’ve never understood exactly what makes the male sex supposedly so superior. From what I’ve seen they are decidedly mediocre as a sex, very egotistical, gun loving, hate-filled, quick to anger, slow witted and quite dirty minded, with brains that make war and other filth. I’ve never known a guilty person who claimed to be guilty of what they’ve done. With trump, I truly believe he doesn’t even have the education to see why he is guilty or SHOULD feel bad about what he’s done. But he’ll never go to prison, more’s the pity - all we can hope is has a massive heart attack and soon.

Well that’s one good thing anyway, at least he did have to pay for that little indiscretion. But he still denies it ever happened.

I think that’s very true, we are forcing on ourselves the evolution toward evil as a prime characteristic for success. Especially in the political world, where nowadays candidates don’t even try to hide the fact that they are white nationalists or bigots, knowing they can get into positions of power just by being such people.

In Utah our governor just declared that “Diversity and inclusion are the worst evils mankind has ever known.” If that isn’t a symptom of a sick culture hell bent on driving itself toward extinction, I don’t know what is.

Sad and perverse, but true. If it was you or I facing such charges, we’d already have been screwed, boo’ed, tattooed, and tossed into jail years ago without hesitation. But this is trump, and he is truly wonderful and magical.
