Very common before 2010. As far as I know the fm decoder was integrated in the SoC itself (at least it is so in modern SoCs), so it’s not even that demanding on the design. Probably not a requested feature, which is a bit sad

You are probably right. Still, I guess China would count on pubblic perception being against fighting for different foreign countries at the same time. People don’t like war and if you want to start a war you want to make sure the allies of your enemies are as less likely as possible to intervene. Of course that does not consider the incredible strategic importance of Taiwan
You forgot Taiwan. As Zipitidew said below, China is happy that NATO is sending so much material to Ukraine that they cannot send to Taiwan in the event of an invasion. My guess is they are not ready yet, otherwise the start of the war in ukraine and in Israel would have both been good moments to start their, when everyone is occupied with other affairs.
So, assuming the guidance system worked as expected, the bomb was guided to that particular house right?
Agree. She fucked up. She made a promise she did not want to honor and didn’t have to maturity to do anything other than getting so drunk she wouldn’t care
That’s right. We theorized the effects shortly after the first coal power plant, and we have observed the effects for a century now. Yet the response has been minimal, to say the least
We need to, because they are the only ones fighting against Chrome monopoly. It’s so sad to read news like this
That’s why I’m saying that a single invention that changed the world is not something you can easily find anymore.
That’s why I’m saying that a single invention that changed the world is not something you can easily find.
We are in a time where a single invention can rarelt be great. For technological development you need thousands of small inventions, each that use previous technological breakthrough through decades of research. And even great things we have, are just refinement and miniaturization of things we already had.
But if a single thing had to be said, I would say mRNA vaccines. Covid vaccines saved milions of lives, were developed in record times, and their technology could be used for HIV or even antitumoral vaccines.
Everything marketed audiophiles, not only gold plated cables, but also anything that uses vacuum tubes because “they sound better”
If developers optimized their apps, we could have phones that are 10x faster than 10 yeara ago. Instead they are the same speed and the same amount of apps fit in the bigger storage, because developers are lazy and use heavy, unoptimized technologies that use 10x the resources
May be, but I don’t think apps use it. Afaik Teams, Discord and such are all epectron apps, yet they have not much in term of dependencies and large install sizes, so they must ship with their own versions.
*unless it’s to return to their home port, but then they also cannot reenter. I think that most of the non black-sea fleet got out before the war or just was not in there at all
You can’t expect every single person that didn’t left Russia to want ukrainians to be murdered and tortured. People there are poor, their entire life is there, their country makes everything to prevent them from escaping and other countries are wary in their regard. You can’t make it that simple
There’s a middle point between “the dictator is the only bad guy” and “literally every person on a country the size of a continent is the bad guy”
Litography technology is only the first part of the deal. You need an incredible amount of knowledge to design processors, use the technology and have a working and reliable product. Manufacturing chips is difficult, you also need to source good qualitt silicon
Russia’s what? Excuse me?
More launchers with less ammunition could be a good deterrent. You can cover more area and launch less missiles becuase the enemy would just avoid more area. Also they can be useful spares in case of massive attacks.
That, or maybe the purchase also covers ammunition. I expect they come with technical support and maintenance service, so why not supply service?
Ten rules that poor people must follow
