Oh no you can bet this guy is into Eugenics and refuses to fuck anyone he deems has “inferior genes” without protection
Just some IT guy
Oh no you can bet this guy is into Eugenics and refuses to fuck anyone he deems has “inferior genes” without protection
I think they were referencing glue on pizza ring and stuf .like that
For me anything “private” just means you can’t buy shares publicly. Worker cooperatives would be included in that (since you need to be a worker to own a “share”)
well in this particular case it wouldn’t have mattered, I used the username but the admin in question has their clear name set as the display name (which made the whole “doxxing” claim even funnier to me)
Also the reason why every company that is consistently ‘good’ is run privately. If you answer to nobody but yourself you have a lot more room for long term plans
You agree that tagging the username of a mod (wasn’t even one it was an admin) is doxxing? If so, you’re delusional.
Mod names are visible by default on my instance so if taking a look there and then mentioning the username you see there is doxxing good luck with the rest of your life. You can’t have a system where everyone can easily find out who performed a mod action and then claim you were “doxxed”
To quote the reason why calling out mods by name is forbidden from a previous encounter I had with them: “removed for doxxing”
So yeah I think you’re giving them too much credit here
I feel your pain, pretty much the same here except the heat is at least dry
Absolutely, the only thing that will ever move the needle significantly is if the average user walks into a store and comes out with a system that has linux already installed.
I hate summer, I dislike shorts and t-shirts being too much clothing for the scorching heat. I also don’t like seeing our dried up husk of a garden despite best attempts to water the damn thing.
I feel like much how OP seems to experience extremely hot summers you get extremely mild ones
It was the same with Pirates, if you get a bad Rep with your extortion business you’re just making your own life harder down the line
Yeah I don’t know why you keep going on about people using AI when my point was entirely that most of the companies offering AI services don’t have a sustainable business model. Being able to do that work locally if anything strengthens my point.
It’s quite funny that you think ChatGPT is making a profit on that 20$ subscription if you replace a software dev with it.
The bust won’t be because it’s not profitable to use AI but because the companies selling the service cannot do so at rates which are both profitable and actually marketable. Case in point: OpenAI has not made a single cent of profit so far (or at least not reported a profit). The way AI is currently shoved in everywhere is not sustainable because the cost of running an AI model cannot be recuperated by most of these new platforms.
My Point is more that their revenue stream will temporarily take a giant hit during that, when everyone is busy going bankrupt the few AI companies that make a profit with it have better things to do than buy new Accelerators right that instant.
Is AI useful? Maybe. But is it profitable? AI will go the same way .com did: there will be a massive crash and at the end of that you’ll see who actually had their pants on
Wait so the malware won’t even need a rootkit first? Damn this is worse than I thought…
because you’re not “allowed” (in some places you are) to copy stuff you paid for.
You know the more I think about this the better this change seems to me. The original X670 and X670E distinctions were already pretty useless if I recall correctly and by basically moving up the B650E spec to X870 they removed that useless spec. Only thing left open for question is what happens with the gap now, are they just going to pull the entire stack up or will there simply be no B850E? Also granted I’d rather have seen a larger improvement from the X670 and X670E spec than them putting a previous mid-range chip into the high-end but at least there is some form of sensible difference between X870 and X870E, albeit the differences to the previous gen are suffering a bit from this weird diagonal upgrade.
At least in the EU USB-C is only the standard by 2nd degree, the actual mandatory connector is whatever connector the industry consortium decides on. For now it just happens to be USB-C
