I thought it’s an either or thing, as two different paths to possibly get an amendment passed, not that it needs both.??

I’ve been using FolderSync (Pro in my case) for many years to sync files (automatically and/or on-demand) from my phone to my Linux server.
AMD GPU just works, no fussing about, get straight to fragging on Xonotic and Counter Strike
Unless you have a monitor that requires HDMI 2.1 to get full resolution/refresh. Then it only works partially.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Linux, and I’ve been using it on my desktops/laptops for almost 30 years at this point.
But there are still issues to deal with on a regular basis, same as Windows or OSX.
That was the first thing I thought of.
Out of everything we have today, Discord is arguably the best we’ve got.
That’s amazingly depressing.
Because up until Broadcom bought them, it was a good product with a ton of useful features, endless supported integrations with 3rd party software and hardware, relatively easy to learn/use, with good support, all at reasonable and flexible price points depending on your needs.
Of course Broadcom has now thrown all of that into the toilet…
Steam had been making Linux pretty darn good for gaming too, even for games that are technically Windows only.
(Art. I, 9, cl. 8): "[NJo Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under [the United States], shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State’
Unfortunately this doesn’t sufficiently cover things like 'Random Russian Billionaire Oligarch" so long as there is the slightest modicum of a veil of separation from “any King, Prince or State”.
So for example, as long as Putin secretly tells his billionaire buddy to go pay off Trump and to keep it hush hush, this clause is even more toothless than it already is in practice.
“Why do we even have that lever?!”
There’s a phrase you might give useful/insightful.
“Trust, but verify”
I use auto pay extensively so that if I forget (ADHD, yay) it still gets paid. But I do (try to) check every month that all the auto pay stuff did trigger properly.
The problem isn’t them being in you LAN. It’s about going to an untrusted network (eg Starbucks, hotel) and connecting to your VPN, boom, now your VPN connection is compromised.
If you’re not either participating in politics by voting, running for office or campaigning; or actively attempting to overthrow the government, then you are accepting whatever government we have and whatever government gets voted in.
There’s nothing morally wrong in voting for the less-bad of available. options now, while still working toward changes that give us better choices in the future. If nothing else, if you really cared about how this country and world runs, you would at least be voting for whoever you think will give you even a SLIGHTLY better chance of allowing or enabling the change you want to see.
The absolute least useful thing you could possibly do is throw up your hands and give up and not participate. As a matter of fact, that’s exactly what extremes on both ends of the political spectrum want you to do. The fewer people who participate, the easier it is for them to get away with all the money and power.
I use proxmox mail gateway (PMG) for my homelab, configured to relay through my Gmail domain using smtp auth.
I’ve also used PMG at the enterprise level. Never had an issue with it.
It’s postfix underneath.
Yes and no. For the clouds that we did have, yes, the eclipse was enough to affect those.
However, for the clouds that we had earlier in the day, and that had been predicted that we might have, would have been far too heavy for eclipse to effect. Unfortunately my sister up in New York ended up in that situation, where it was far too heavy a cloud cover so they didn’t get to see anything. We had been predicted that we might have that, but that’s the manner in which we got lucky.
No they don’t, at least not in Texas. Here they get paid for the school year. Then they have the option to CHOOSE to have their pay spread out throughout the year. But unless they are teaching summer school, which is additional pay, they are not paid for the summer.
Growing up in west Texas, I talked to one uber-Baptist who for some unfathomable reason believed that the Catholics “worship Mary”, therefore they don’t follow the “there is only one God” rule and therefore aren’t Christian.
Of course you are, either it’s baked into the cost of the car, or you are paying for it in personal data. So it may be hidden, but you’re absolutely paying for it.
Not sure where you live, but around here (Southern US) the festivals are required to provide free drinking water to everyone.
Just because our previous civil war involved a relatively simple geographical separation, doesn’t mean it’s necessary for a civil war.
The only thing you need is two (or more) sides with opposing beliefs about how the country should run and who should run it, and that said beliefs are strong enough that people are willing to use violence to ensure that their side wins.
Geography has nothing to do with it.
