I thought Fairphone would solve this for me, but the thing is too damn chonky.
Codec support is a bit of a bummer. Otherwise I would have bought them.
Maybe they could have spent some of that money on Simplenote maintenance & development.
I’d love to do this, but I used LinkedIn to find my current job, & I’ll probably need it to find the next one (when the time comes).
I keep it up to date, like a kind of running CV, but otherwise I don’t interact with it.
I used to, because I had a buggy TP-Link modem/router, & adding a cap was the only way that port forwarding would magically start to work. I have no idea why. The bug never got fixed.
Yup. That’s it.
Was just thinking the same. A happy trip down memory lane. We used to do quad jump + low gravity + instagib. There was some capture the flag map that was great with these mods. I can’t remember the name now though.
I was considering blocking all posts containing youtube links. No-one wants some opionated arse-monger broadcasting to them in bed.
Nice. I think I do most of these. Have you looked into CalyxOS & GrapheneOS as alternative Android substitutes?

It catches up with all of us eventually. One day you find you just have to start cutting back.
Jumped to Lebara once Three started charging for EU roaming. Uswitch have a nice plan with 21GB/month for about £8–9/month. Includes EU roaming. No lock-in or contract. I think it also includes some free minutes to dial EU numbers. Pretty much better in every way.
Same boat. Stuck with my Pixel 5 for now.
No, but I was considering switching back to having one. I had an iPhone + Linux laptop combination for a while, which makes getting your music on your phone impossible. Now I’ve switched to a phone with CalyxOS, getting my FLAC & mp3 files on my phone is doable again, so I might not go the route of getting a dedicated mp3 player.
Could be for devs? China’s long term goal is to wean itself off western software and hardware.
