Maybe I haven’t found a good recipe yet. I’ve used canned jackfruit and it just tastes like heartburn and bile. The ripe stuff is good tho…

I love both jackfruit and durian, but they are very different flavours.
Are you eating ripe or young jackfruit? Young jackfruit is what’s often used as a meat substitute, ripe jackfruit is sweet and has a unique flavor.
If you have not had banana and jackfruit Turon you are sadly deprived.

No, durians have big spikes. Between the spikes and the smell, durians shout not to be eaten, but do we listen?
The spikes are too small, looks much more like a jackfruit.
