I mean this with real genuine respect.

What you have there is a super normal basic salad that I would be fine to get at any basic restaurant or be given at a home dinner. There is nothing that I can see wrong with it, but it is also not special in any way shape or form. Now if you grew that lettuce and made that holloumi (I don’t mean seared it, but actually made the cheese) than it would be more special. But as it is, it is not “Food Porn” but maybe “rule34 food porn”. This doesn’t mean it’s bad, it is fine. It’s OK. I’m not insulting your salad - it just is not anything slightly extra ordinary.

      From the rules:

Welcome to a little slice of culinary heaven where we share photos of our favorite dishes,

I don’t see any reason why OP shouldn’t post their halloumi salad anywhere in the community rules. As long as this salad is one of OP’s favourite dishes.

You, on the other hand, seem to violate rule 1.

Haha, you know what, you’re probably right. But I was very nice about it. And it could be one of OPs favorite dishes. Lots of people share photos of every meal they eat on Facebook, so why not here? I’ll retract my statement.
