Yes, never holding the DNC accountable helps them perform better over time. That’s why spoiled children academically outperform those of parents who expect them to study. Slavish support of the under-performing neoliberal era DNC has secured strong protections for basic rights like abortion and led to an ever fairer economy, and has in no way contributed to the rise of Trump among what was formerly the DNC’s working class base electoral majority.

They would rather lose than pivot left. They are unlikely to actually solve any problems the working class faces, but things will get much worse much faster under the other party of big business.
True! They’re happier to lose with Reagan’s electorate than to win with the dirty hippies. Maybe that should tell you something about who you’re voting for. At least the GOP has a democratic process by which a critical number of voters can take over the party like Trump did. The DNC is a cabal of neoliberal boomers who hate everyone who voted for, campaigned for, and donated to them pre-Trump and there’s no democratic mechanism by which to reform the party because they don’t hold real, fair, primaries.
