        Libraries are a place of knowledge. We are where we are as human race because of knowledge and our ability to efectively store it and pass it down. Libraries were and are pinacles of this.

        Now you are going to answer “but internet!” - and you are not wrong. Internet is in many ways evolution of a classic library. But internet is depended on electricity and technology. Books are there on demand and accessible to people even without internet. The library fee is in majority of cases lesser than what you pay your internet provider, in some cases it maybe efectively free for people. So prett much almost whoever can come in and utilize the knowledge within to beter themelves.
