But I just saw this happen.

If you are an able-bodied human at the check out line at the grocery store and you stand there while the elderly cashier bags your $400 worth of groceries for you with no help, you’re a piece of shit.

Not only are you not even attempting to make this human’s day any easier, YOU’RE HOLDING UP THE FUCKING LINE, MOVE IT!

Well at Walmart the shit is bagged behind the counter next to the cashier, the belt stops at the scanner. I can’t help at all unless I’m completely getting in their way or make it look like I’m robbing them. Otherwise I agree.

From what I understand if you let someone do their job, you are a piece of shit. I don’t agree with that statement whatsoever.

I live in a country where this service is not available (anywhere!) But imagine being an elderly or person with disabilities, and this is the only job you can do. Imagine looking forward to contributing with what you can, and then someone like you shows up and takes over their tasks, just because they are not fast enough for you to not wait a few more minutes in line.

In any case, it should be the store to blame, because they don’t open more cash registers or hire more people and let customers in line
