Israel recognises gay marriage officially, being gay is strictly illegal in all Arab countries. Debate me if you want but if you had to choose any street corner in the middle east to announce your coming out publicly, you’d be a moron if you tried it anywhere other than Israel.
So if your neighbour came into your house and murdered your child, you’d what? Give them your house and live on the street?
