RIP, goodhearted woman.

America, if you’d vote for change, this wouldn’t be necessary. The US is the only developed country where this is commonplace.

In order for us to vote for change, change has to be on the ballot.

Yeah, but still. To me, one party wants as much of this to change as possible. The other one wants to take us as far back toward the 1950s as possible.

One party wants to take us back to the 1950s, the other party pretends to want change. Both parties want the status quo. They’re the ruling class and they want we peons to stay in our place and produce wealth for them. There’s not a Left and a Right anymore, there’s center-right and deep-right.

Time and again, Democrats claim to want to help, but even when they are a majority, they always find a way to blame Republicans for their bills not getting passed. This is by design. They keep receiving votes because, “obviously, we’re trying!” when in reality they don’t want to risk their wealth any more than anyone else in the ruling class. They all live in a bubble outside of reality where they don’t even have to think about or concern themselves with “tiny” problems like medical debt thanks to perks like their government health plan and voting for their own pay raises.

Every once in a blue, they dangle a carrot like the affordable care act, net neutrality, or the attempts to delete student loan debt, so they can keep voters coming back and voting D, but it’s all just a contrived farce.

Unfortunately, now it’s either voting for fascism or voting for the status quo, so for the preservation of the country, more will vote D, and the Democratic party will assume it is because We The People like their weak attempts at policy.

Incomprehensibly depressing. Everything about this should make us ashamed of ourselves as a species. Or we should just stop pretending that we value each other more than cash. Or at all actually.

How do the economics work if one dollar can erase one hundred dollars of debt? Somehow profit is still made?

Constantly feels like we’re losing the best of us. I can’t imagine facing death and thinking, “How can I make a bunch of other people’s lives easier?”

I’m sorry, but we as a country can’t vote our way out of a paper bag. We’re too caught up in division politics and general propaganda to make any leeway

US is not a developed country. It is overdeveloped

An over-lit room can be uncomfortable, even impossible, to work in.

An overloaded truck is at best unable to move, and at worst a serious danger to everything around it.

          Neither reverses the effect.

An over-lit room is still a LIT room.

An OVER-loaded truck is still a loaded truck.

Dude… you’re fighting to have people accept something they already accept. Get over it. Yes USA is a developed country, but not just that in it self. On top of that it is overdeveloped rendering the development useless to everyday people like you and me.

        What’s your point?

Mine is, that capitalism has gone too far in the US. Yours sounds more like a meaningless and irrelevant wordplay.

While this is for sure life changing for those it helps, and magnanimous of this heroine, it is still chock full of shame that the motherfuckers who’ve twisted the system all up STILL get their win, no matter what.

I hope BRICS absolutely destroys the dollar, and when that falls, and the military and police no longer are getting paid, everything else’ll fall too. Then the rich can be just as broke as everyone else, but they’ll have food, supplies, jewelry so the armed will be making it out to mansion manor with the quickness. Like the next day.

And no, the police won’t work to restore order. Work for free? Have you met these people before? Look at the last 20 years, those motherfuckers will be LEADING the looting.

Don’t think they’ll be any kind of ally tho, they’ll be burning thru ammo taking out any one who even looks at them, you included. They’re only about themselves, as evidenced, by everywhere.
